was the first bookshop on the Gold Coast,
established in the 1920's. It was originally opened in Nerang Street, Southport, and was purchased by the present owners, the McDOUGALL FAMILY in 1973. After operating in the Southport CBD for many years, it moved to its current location at 117 Olympic Circuit in 2001. |

Our 6 representatives service schools and kindergartens for all early childhood, primary and secondary requirements. We supply library, text and teacher reference books, stationery items and many more products associated with school needs. |

a large range of reference books suitable for home study. This
includes homework aids to assist parents in helping thier children
and educational charts, such as times tables, alphabet, biology,
medicine and the Solar System. Parents and Guardians seeking
resources to help their children at home are most welcome to

SYMONS qualified representatives have been actively involved in supporting both the Queensland Children's Book Council, regional SLAQ and other groups (such as Bilby & Readers Cup) and believe in promoting the love of reading to the wider public. Our involvement in promoting author visits into local schools is another area we consider invaluable. |
